When Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot, some in the media immediately tried to blame the political "right." They claimed the Conservatives had created an atmosphere of hate, etc. This was before the culprit, who was not a Conservative, had been found. History repeats. This was the same as the reaction of the media in 1963 when President Kennedy was shot. They accused the Conservatives of creating an atmosphere of hate.
